Eunice Nyakwaka, a mother and also a nurse at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, holds two of her three babies. She gave birth to  triplets but lots one of them due to  the congestion in the incubators in the hospitals Infant Unit. Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, Kisii County. 08/27/2015.
Five babies are placed in an incubator that is meant for one baby. Some of these babies are born prematurely and some  are born with breathing difficulties.Due to lack of seriousness and corruption on both the county and National governments, hospitals still do not receive enough funds to get enogh and proper equipments for thier daily needs. Due to lack of proper equipment in the hospitals, the nurses in the infant unit of Kisii Teaching and Refferal Hopsital,  have to improvise with  the little they have. Simo Omwami, makes a cast for one of the patients to aid in keeping one of the patients bone structure to keep intact. The Occupational therapsits have to literally  make any aid for their patients because the aids are not provided by the hospital and they have to help the patients get better. Nick Ombati cries in pain, as an Occupational therapist, Felix Ongari, Massages his muscles to ease up Nicks muscles and  make them less numb, to him feel so that he may be able to carry on with his motor skills normally daily. The occupational therapist are about five in the hospital, and they receive about 40 patients per day, this pushes them to work for longer hours than expected , because its so hard for them to turn down the patients since most of them are children who can be made better for them to live a normal life. Bernard Ogendhi an Occupational therapist stretches the hands of Samuel Masereti who has weak muscles on his hands , to make them more active and hence be able to operate freely in the future without the help of others. Their are success stories according to Bernard, the patients that are able to have better motor skills and live their lives normally. Simon Omwami, an Occupational Therapist, at Kisii Teaching and referral Hospital attends to Jack Ongari, a child with weak muscles since birth. Jack visits the hospital thrice a week for therapy to help him better his motor skills,  and to be independent with his daily activities such as eating, playing etc. The lady with them is Jacks mother.
